ALEXIS EDRALIN Soprano A Ryan Cayabyab protégé, Alexis started her formal voice lessons at the age of 9 at the Ryan Cayabyab Music Studio and moved after high school to the UP College of Music under the wings of Professor Cecilia Ongsiako-Valena. She also took lessons with Evelyn Mandac when the renowned New York based soprano would visit UP. Alexis performed on different occasions with the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra, the Manila Youth Symphony Orchestra, Bayanihan: The Philippine Folkdance Company among others, rendering a variety of classical pieces from Bach to Abelardo. Alexis’ first major concert was held at the Philamlife Auditorium just last June 2, 2005!
